![]() For example, most hotel rooms have TV's with free HDMI ports. In these situations Miracast is the way to go for screen mirroring, since it uses wifi direct and doesn't require connecting to a wifi network. This is usually easy enough at home, but can be difficult in an office, friend's home, or hotel. Miracast is disabled on Google branded phones for mysterious reasons, but can be turned of if you're willing to root the phone.ġ9009014 said:You praise Chromecast for screen mirroring, but don't mention its major limitation: both the client and the receiver need to be connected to the same wifi network. It's on the settings menu, under display. Most recent vintage Android cell phones, except for Googles's, support Miracast. You can then cast anything on the cell phone's screen, as well as the audio, to the TV. With a Microsoft display adapter, or other device such as some Roku's and Amazon fire sticks which support Miracast, you plug the dongle in to the TV, and wirelessly connect your cell phone using Miracast. You praise Chromecast for screen mirroring, but don't mention its major limitation: both the client and the receiver need to be connected to the same wifi network. If they work well, you’ll know within half an hour - and if they work poorly, you’ll know much quicker than that. Truthfully, though, testing Miracast and screen-mirroring devices is a pretty simple process, since the receivers don’t have many moving parts. ![]() In home testing cases, we’re particularly interested in how video mirroring stacks up to native apps on streaming devices. Each receiver has to prove its worth on both a home network and an office network, since screen mirroring has some productivity applications as well. We test Miracast devices with Windows PCs and Android phones, Google Cast devices with Android phones and Chrome browsers, and AirPlay devices with Macbooks and iPhones. We test photos, music, videos, office documents and even video games - not necessarily because each one represents a realistic scenario, but to see just how reliable each device is when pushed up against its limits. We hook up a receiver to a TV, then see how reliably it mirrors content. Testing the best Miracast and screen-mirroring devices is pretty straightforward. How we test Miracast and screen-mirroring devices Just bear in mind that you’ll need a pretty strong Internet connection to mirror high-res content reliably. These streaming devices support resolutions up to 4K. If you’re mirroring from a very powerful device, you might want a Google Chromecast Ultra or an Apple TV 4K. A regular Google Chromecast or a regular Apple TV can support resolutions of up to 1080p. Just bear in mind that when it comes to Google and Apple devices, you have two choices apiece. Most screen-mirroring protocols are not cross-compatible, so if you don’t buy the appropriate receiver, you could find yourself staring down a $50 paperweight. If you plan to stream from a Mac OS or iOS device, get an Apple TV. If you plan to stream from an Android device, get the Google Chromecast. Simply put: If you plan to stream from a Windows PC, get the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. The best Miracast or screen-mirroring device depends on the gadgets you already own. How to choose the best Miracast or screen-mirroring device for you The 4K variant is quite expensive, so it’s worth considering how often you mirror content at full HD vs. Like many streaming devices, the Apple TV comes in both 1080p and 4K flavors. In addition, the Apple TV boasts a sophisticated search thanks to its Siri voice assistant and an admirable selection of both core and casual games. Apple TV is also a full-featured set-top box that runs apps for most major streaming sites and plays movies, music and podcasts directly from iTunes. The setup and activation are essentially foolproof, and the streaming quality for music, photos and video is excellent. Using an iOS mobile device or a Mac computer, users can mirror their displays on an Apple TV. AirPlay is one of the oldest and most reliable screen-mirroring protocols.

Under the Trump administration, new applications under Daca will no longer be accepted. Read more What will happen to the Dreamers? He indicated that the government will “generally not take actions” to remove law-abiding Daca recipients. Because Obama created the Daca program as an executive policy decision, Trump had the power simply to reverse the policy. Trump gave Congress six months to come up with a legislative solution. The administration announced last week that it would begin “an orderly, lawful wind down” of Daca, including “the cancellation of the memo that authorized this program”, which was sent from homeland security secretary Janet Napolitano to immigration chiefs in 2012, telling them not to enforce deportation of Dreamers. He has not yet successfully executed any of these threats. ![]() Brown/AFP/Getty Images What did Trump announce?ĭuring last year’s divisive election, Trump promised to rip up Daca immediately and make the deportation of the US’s estimated 11 million undocumented persons a top priority, along with his threats to ban all Muslims from entering the US and to build a wall along the border with Mexico. ![]() The bipartisan act was introduced in 2001 and has repeatedly failed to pass.Ī protest against the plan to end Daca in Los Angeles, California. The Daca program was a compromise devised by the Obama administration after Congress failed to pass the so-called Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (Dream) Act, which would have offered those who had arrived illegally as children the chance of permanent legal residency. They range in age from 15 to 36, according to the White House. Most Dreamers are from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras and the largest numbers live in California, Texas, Florida and New York. They must have arrived in the US before turning 16 and lived there continuously since June 2007. To apply, they must have been younger than 31 on 15 June 2012, when the program began, and “undocumented”, lacking legal immigration status. Those protected under Daca are known as “Dreamers” – by the time Trump announced his decision to rescind the program, 787,580 had been granted approval. If they pass vetting, action to deport them is deferred for two years, with a chance to renew, and they become eligible for basics like a driving license, college enrollment or a work permit. ![]() Those applying are vetted for any criminal history or threat to national security and must be students or have completed school or military service. There, a dedicated space will comprise an academy, archive, library, auditorium and exhibition space with a focus on ‘craft, culture and art’. ‘Haus of Dreamers’ – which Golden Goose describes as ‘a global cultural platform to unleash creativity, a series of events and collaborations’ – is ongoing, and will call the industrial port of Venice, Marghera, home (the brand itself was founded in the city in 2013). ![]() It's the easiest to use option we've tried. ![]() If you've found other products challenging to use, the Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized is probably the best rangefinder for you. Nikon's Coolshot Pro Stabilized golf rangefinder does something the above rangefinders on our list do not.Īs the name suggests, this rangefinder manages to stabilize both the viewfinder and laser. If you want all the features it offers and the best accuracy, you'll need to pay a bit more for them than some of the other rangefinders on the market. The only real downside we've found to the Bushnell PRO XE is its price. Other features we love about the PRO XE is that it has a magnetic strip to mount to carts and has one of the largest ranges (5-1300 yards, 5-500 yards range to flag). It indicates that it has locked onto a target with both a pulsing red ring and a vibration. The PRO XE is also very fast at locking onto targets. These features allow the PRO XE to give you the most accurate estimation of the "playing as" distance for the day's specific conditions (in addition to giving you the simple yardage readings). Not only is the PRO XE the most accurate rangefinder at finding "raw yardage" (along with other offerings from Bushnell), it also can account for slope (uphill/downhill), temperature, and barometric pressure. You see people run Arlene? I thought I was the only person to do that. Ironically, you can knock him out of first despite being the tank but this is balanced in a way that it is hard to do so but actually possible due to a lack of speed. ![]() And is actually better then Odie for some time trial maps. This is made up with MAX acceleration, and ALMOST MAX Handling. His stats however are some of the best offered, although he has bad speed. ![]() These are high tier characters, although there are basically flawless they're not overpowered: Nermal does not have very good hats, one sends the UFO's faster and the other increases the duration of the cursed gem. It is possible to prevent Jon from reaching 1st place, but the game is set once he is in 1st. Max Speed although is cool, it may not help too much Bad Acceleration, and he is tortured with even lower handling. Without the hat, he is for sure low tier. Although he may seem the best, Jon has flaws. He can hold 6 RED, HOMING, LUSTFUL, CLINGY, TACKY, ADHESIVE PIES WITH RELATIVE EASE. What this means? You can't get him out of first either! The only characters that can get Odie out of first are Arlene and Jon because they have battle hats that are well equip for 2nd place and 1st. or uhh, Chef Hat With Curly Mustache! And basically, when he rolls a pie there is a 100% Chance he will hold 3 of them in one space. Jon although may seem bad at first, is top tier lying on top of his head as well! This time we have the Pasticito Hat. WITHOUT the football helmet, Odie is a mid tier character But he is the only one with the football helmet so we have a different situation. In a time trial situation, Odie is the fastest character, in an online situation it is impossible to knock Odie out of first because he is outspeeding you and your items mean nothing to his power. If all of this wasn't bad enough, Odie is already one of the faster characters, manageable handling, and ALMOST MAX acceleration. Perfume is a different boost so that is unaffected. The Football Helmet affects ALL orange and blue boosts, this includes Starting Line Boost, Drifting, Lasagna, & Boost Pads. Unquestionably the best characters for online: Odie has access to the "Moterago Helmet" or the Football Helmet, is a bugged hat, originally designed to boost the duration of lasagnas turned into something else. Low: THIS SPOT IS RESERVED FOR TIME TRIAL He will be all orange for Garfield as an example, or just pick all of the top list items for Garfields perfect combo. The character icon will tell you when you have it. The meta changes completely when you put hats and spoilers into play.Ī perfect combo is when you use a specific Character, Kart, Hat, & Spoiler. But I would say Nermal and Squeak are the best going early game standards. If you do not have a perfect combo, everything has the same chances of winning. You want online so here is the online meta, BEFORE we get into that. As long as I have Garfield Kart -Furious Racing, I’ll be ok.There are different tier lists for online and time trial. It has been 7 months since that day and since then, my boss fired me and my family kicked me out due to my Garfield Kart Addiction. I of course chose Garfield Kart - Furious Racing. This repeated for weeks until my girlfriend told me that I could either choose Garfield Kart - Furious Racing, or her. I woke up and went to play Garfield kart - Furious Racing. As I was sleeping that night, I had dreams about Garfield, telling me that I made the right choice in buying this game. After that, I played all night, and fell asleep to the game’s beautiful soundtrack. Hastefully, I used the pie, took aim and hit him dead on, sending him off the track, winning me the race. I started using all of my lasagnas and springs, following the racing line to catch up to him, until it was the last corner, and we were next to eachother. The person in first place was nermal (I hate nermal) and I knew I couldn’t let scum like him win the race. I started driving, flying through the corners with my lasagna, and before I knew it it was my last lap, and I was in second. I loaded into the game and picked Garfield, my favourite character, as soon as the game loaded in and I was in the grid, something sparked inside of me. However, one fateful night I was bored, and I decided to play Garfield Kart - Furious Racing. I, like many others, purchased this game as a joke. |
